Ridiculous bank costs
How is it possible that Absa charge R2.40 per SMS for an inter account transfer and Capitec only charge 35c per sms to any other bank. I think Absa is out of line with their bank costs

Thank you for contacting my husband explaining the bank costs to him.
We weren't aware that the sms amount was for 4 transactions as it was not stipulated.
We are happy with Absa's service otherwise.
We have been doing business with them since the 70's.
I must admit though that Absa's bank costs are still very high which make it difficult to make ends meet especially with today's high inflation and the cost of living.
