Ridiculous bank account charges

My colleagues and i opened a stokvel account with Absa Bank,we saved an amount of R38,346.00 over a period of 12 month's,yet when we got to the bank we we're told we had R37,446.00 in our account according to the the person who was assisting us the missing R900 went to bank charges something we we're not even made aware of,fine told them to give us everything that's in the account since it's year end and the monies must be shared accordingly to our surprise after making the withdrawal the receipt said we had R707.60 + and an available balance of R675 .62 + for what nobody knows.These are people's hard earned money though,we are now made to look like ******* at our place of work. Can somebody enlighten us please.
