Reverse Robinhoods- *****ing from the poor and giving to themselves

I had to undergo debt review and was advised to change my bank account. After some research, I settled on Absa because they had an account for a low monthly fee. I was barred from applying for that account as I "earned too high a salary." Well, the monthly account fee online is just the tip of the theft ice berg. Every month since I opened my account, I have been charged in excess of R500 in bank fees, all charged under the banner "admin fee." I have queried this in the bank, online, over the phone. Not one employee could explain what exactly this admin fee is. This month, Absa took over R1000 in "admin charges." I have paid over R3000 in "admin fees" since opening my account in June last year. This is theft. As someone who is under debt review, I do not have a whole lot of spare money. I cannot afford to pay even more that the stated R100 because my finances are worked out to the last cent. What I do have spare is being eaten up in bank costs and "admin fees." At the end of last month, I went to block two of my creditors with whom I have cancelled my contracts and policies but who still continue to debit me. I asked Absa to please block those creditors as I cannot afford the outrageous return fees Absa charges (R150.00 per return- this was never specified to me when I app**** for my account). They assured me it was done. However BOTH debits ran. When I queried this they told me I can in future just block a creditor on my internet banking. If anyone can figure out their unnecessarily difficult internet banking model, please let me know. I have been to the bank twice for "training" on how to access my own account. All to no avail because putting in information wrongly (which is easy because you have 3 different passwords and passcodes) just once blocks your access which you cannot remove yourself. You have to go in branch. I am so disappointed in Absa that they have no consideration for their customer and their circumstances.
