RETAIL BANK COLLECTIONS

Extremely rude, unprofessional, this gentleman didn't care about how i feel or what i asking!!! I'm extremely disappointed with an employee that works at ABSA Randburg. Have you had someone actually be so rude and harass you over the phone like you owe them. I missed a few payments (2) payment on my bond repayment due to circumstances but in which I've been paying my bond for the past 26 years and i'm only left with R8000.00 and have catched up with payments. Hadn't received any call/ or communication from the bank but a gentleman by the name of H.J van Niekerk came to my house and left a business card with my son in-law. Arrived at home and gave him a call. First he was extremely rude couldn't actually give me chance to explain anything, he mentioned i should actually pay an amount of R5000.00 by the following day. Explained to him i can only manage to pay an amount of R4500.00 he refused to make any kind of arrangement for me. He then told me his going to contact my ex husband and ask him for the R500 if i do not pay it. Tried to explain to him we've been divorced for the passed 9 years and Mr van Niekerk didn't want to hear a thing. He actually called my ex husband to tell him about the issue after i had explain we no longer together. Yes we both signed the documents by i'm the one liable to pay in which i'm doing exactly that. I'm extremely disappoint in this service after 26 years this what i get!!!
