REST IN PEACE ABSA INSURANCE
I have a loft above my garage. The shower leaked and the ceiling board caved in. I claimed online on 31 July 2015. Ref no. 28703. On 3 August 2015 I receive an sms that confirmed that the claim had been registered. ***. That same day a plumber was assigned and the sms stated they would phone me which they did. I told them that I fixed the leak myself but I needed someone to fix the ceiling.

On 7 August 2015 AC Kabinetmakers were appointed. The contacted me, took measurements and left.

On 18 August 2015 I phoned AC Kabinetmakers to find out whats going on. The said they have submitted the quotation after they were at my house.

On 7 September 2015 I phoned *** which is a number I got of the ABSA website. It is a compliments or complaints number. I gave him the reference number and he said he must ask his supervisor. After 8 minutes he said they don`t know what`s going on and that I must phone ***. I repeated the no to him and he confirmed. Needles to say the number does not exist. I phoned the ABSA number on the website and waited and waited and just gave up.

Back to square one
