Request higher payment than my balance

During the 1st 2 weeks of July I requested my final balance to close my credit card. I got informed my closing balance would be R1908.03 up to 19-07. I duly paid the full amount on 17-07.. On 27-07 I received my final statement showing that my final balance was in fact R1900.75. After my payment there was a credit of 1c. If my balance up to the statement date 27-07 was R1900.75 why was my settlement 8 days earlier R7.28 more?<br> <br> Why would Virgin not show the amount of my final payment as a credit but just indicate the balance is now 1c credit?<br> <br> What happens to the R7.28?<br> <br> Is this the easy way of making money that is not earned?<br> <br> Glad to never deal with Virgin Money again.
