Repossession process

I' am writing this mail to express my deepest disappointment in the way my vehicle account is being handled. I acknowledge that I have been behind on my payments. The first time I got communication was last year October when I got home to find that someone delivered summons regarding an outstanding balance of R15000. 00 to my shock I had already paid R15000.00 in July and only had R9000. 00shortfall. I reach out to the contact person on the summon and asked why did I get the summon with that amount and she said the R9000 got interests on it. I further asked her to assist with the payment plan as I can afford a certain amount. She send me the options. I started making extra payment on November and December. On Monday 26 January 2026 I got a call from someone telling me that my account has been handed over for reposessing the vehicle due to the R13936 arrears and I was shocked to discover that there has been no communication with the attorney and I started making extra payments. Then Wednesday 28 January 2026 I get a call from the other company telling me that they are going to make arrangements for me to pay the arrears only if I meet up with their tracer/inspector. I agreed to meet up but couldn't get to the venue as the first lady that called me gave me a different name of the person expected to come reposes the car . On my way I got a call from my child telling me there are 2 men saying that they are from absa to get the car and they made a scene at my residence also swearing and threatening my mother. On Friday the 30 January 2026 they came to my place of work and the man introduced himself as Tshepo from absa, he had no name tag, card or anything proving his affiliation to absa and said he is there to reposess the car. When I asked him to give me the paperwork he became angry and said that he will get the car his way because his company overrides internal decisions and went to speak with my supervisors divulging my personal affairs. I fear for my kids and mother as this man told them he will be back and we don't know what he will do. My mother fears that the man might even kidnap her or the kids as he followed her when walking to the complex. My kids have been severely traumatized by the events of Wednesday the 28 January 2026 and I have also suffered humiliation.
