Repossessed my car,
In 2012, I was in 3 months arrears, I paid an amount of R20 000-00 in October of the same year. But in February 2013, my car was repossessed due to the interests accrued in the 3 months of non-payment. My dissatisfaction is around the fact that by the time Mr Leon Fourie ***) called me and promised to repossess the car, instalments were going through. He claimed that the car had been in areas for a long time, therefore they were repossessing it even though I had paid. Not only was he rude, he was demanding the car and didn't even give me a chance to explain what was happening.
I paid the amount of R5000-00 to cover the interests, early in March 2013 whilst the car was with the Sheriff by the name Thembisa Letlabika in Sterkspruit. I took the proof of payment to her, hoping to recover the car but she refused to accept the receipt and release the car.
I called Danielle Sass in Absa Queenstown ***)and she said that the matter was then with the Absa lawyers in Johannesburg. That was the end of it. With this, I aim to expose this ************ business practice, at the least. I wonder how many small town folk has Mr Fourie ****** of their assets in this manner.
