Refuse to do new insurance in 2015

So today i thougt it would be a good idea to get everything in order getting house hold and portable insurance through the bank i bank with (Absa). Online they show you can have portable insurance but when i asked the operator who phoned me he said no they dont do it separately it needs to go with house hold insurance i then said okay its fine can you please give me a quote on house hold insurance just to hear him say he wont be able to help me as they are not doing new house hold insurances in this year as i wil have to wait until January for them to help me?? Seriously what insurer have a policy like that? I am so disappointed in Absa. And i wil spread the word
