Refusal to wave access

I am quite sad that I am still fighting the same battle with Absa Insurance concerning a claim which was storm related. It' been more than a month and I continue to pay my premiums diligently so that I can be covered. I alread wrote a review on this platform regarding damages which had occured in my house on the 11th of December 2021 due to a storm that caused a tree to fall and break my front perimeter wall. Absa had initially rejected the claim claiming that there was no evidence that the tree had fallen which reflects the incompetence of their assessors. In addition they referred to page 17 in the policy when the policy ends on page 13 which reflects utter unprofessionalism and incompetence of the employees. After a long back and forth they finally accepted liability of damages and these were their exact words: "I have discussed your complaint with the claim management and after careful consideration with support of the information supp**** by you, claim department has accepted the liability on the wall, electric fence and the removal of the tree" 1. Instead of sourcing a service provider for the damages they decided they were giving me a cash settlement of R15 352.22 broken down to R4000 for the cutting of the tree; R5635.50 for the broken wall; R4236 for the electric fence; lastly R800 access fee which was deducted from the amount. I got tired of fighting and decided to settle for the amount which caused a lot of inconvenience for me. I had to run around sourcing for service providers and comparing quotes all of which were around R37000 to fix just the wall. It took more than a month for Absa Insurance to accept liability on the damages which I ended up having to fix myself anyway. 2. Due to Absa delaying to fix the broken wall ******s entered through the wall and stole my gate motor. When I reported this I was told that it had to be filed as a different claim but I insisted that the incident was related to the original incident. I was told by the agent that I spoke to that the matter would be look into. Now I am being asked to pay access of R800 again for the gate motor as Abasa Insurance refuses to accept that the incident of THEFT is related to the incident of the STORM. This experience has been most ********** and has caused me a lot of inconvenience. I have concluded that Absa Insurance just collects money for their clients for their own benefit which is day light ******* and a lot of injustice.
