Refusal to accept FICA documents

Absa requested that I provide FICA documents. Went to the branch today where Phumeza Bensi assisted at client services. She was rude from the start. She refused to accept my electricity account as proof of address (which has been accepted by Nedbank for FICA purposes as well as by Absa student loans). That is the only document I have with physical address on, other documents all go to postal address. She refused to accept it, but could also not tell me what else to provide that would be acceptable. I then said if that is the case she must please close my account I hold with Absa. She said there is R117.10 available on the account and would I want it in cash or transferred. I chose cash. She phoned and nobody answered the phone then she said well I cannot get cash and she won't close the account, card division must. The manager was conveniently not available. I left and phoned Absa Fica department who accepted the electricity account via email. Now I'm wondering have I been treated like this because I'm white? ************** against me or is it an *********** and impolitely rude employee dealing with customers?
