REFUSAL FOR REFUND

I joined an ABSA life cover policy it was a telephone contract in 2013. I was told that should I require to cancel the policy I would be refunded all my money. I was surprised to find out that I will not be refunded all my money. this was something new to me because in the beginning I was told that I will be refunded hence I joined. Can someone pull the recorded contract telephone agreement and get back to me.
