Rediculous Internet Banking Fees

Absolutely shocked and discouraged this morning. Absa promotes all services to be done on Phone- or Internet banking......I saw a drop in my bank balance this morning, logged into Internet Banking service just to discover that Absa bank deducted R537 for Internet banking fees. This is absolutely rediculous!! I use my own wi-fi network, I do all transactions myself, I have been a client of Absa bank for 36 years.....how do they calculate this? This morning a quarter of what I have in my bank account, was deducted for fees......I am not prepared or in a position to pay this unreasonable fee in future. I am left with no option to search for another bank with more acceptable fees. Moving little money would not harm Absa, but if thousands of people move their little amounts away from Absa, it will definitely harm Absa!
