For the past six months, I have been debited by ********** people, an amount of R95. Every monthend I have to ask for time out from my work to go and reverse these amounts. And every time I do so, Absa charges me R26. This past month end, most of the people in the enquiries que had come to reverse these kinds of amounts. Absa is reluctant to solve this problem, because they are GAINING FROM IT. They make millions every from reversesal charges. Other banks are making efforts to curb this. Fnb for on will send you an sms informing you about a new debit order that is about to go on your account. You have the option to allow it or reject it. Capitec allows you to reverse unauthorised debits on your banking app. Absa only allows you to reverse unauthorised debits on the internet banking. If you data at that moment you are doomed.
I want all my charges back for this ****. Absa must fullfill it's duties for protecting our money, not **** it's customers. Right now, for a week, another********** people called Oversure have been trying to debit my account , however, they keep bouncing because they are no funds available. Absa charges me R150 for unhonoured debits. Which is also a reap off, because I don't know these **********. Absa knows them. They even have the odessity to give me ********** numbers to call them myself. No one answers that phone because those companies do not exist. The Consumer commission and the fais Ombudsman must look into this matter. Absa is letting its customers down.
