Really Absa ?!?!
So Absa, my moms credit card has been closed (for years now - 2014 or there abouts), yet every month she gets a statement (post not email) stating that the balance on the account is round about R 13. When you go and try to withdraw the money (at a teller), you can't because the account is closed.
So - two questions :
How (and WHY) the heck do you close an account when there is still money in the account (without transferring it to another account) ?
Why do you keep on posting statements of closed accounts ?
Such a waste of money ! No wonder your banking fees have to be so ridiculously high.
