RD CHEQUE WITHOUT WARNING

ABSA RD 2 cheques , the local ABSA employee does not know why these cheques were sent back (he said it looks like Fica problems) and what is amazing that the bank apparently does not care what this does to their client's credit rating at supplier level. If anything as seriously as this happens I expect the bank to phone before a cheque is RD and that your local branch IMMEDIATELY informs you of any problem on the account. ABSA uses the Fica stick to give bad service and then they pretend the customer is not upto scratch. There must be a different way in which the bank can manage this. 4 Months ago ABSA RD a cheque that was for SARS to pay VAT , again just shrugging their shoulders for the chaos that this created. This problem just goes on and on !!! When you complain at the help line level , nothing improves !!! I have been an ABSA client for 35 years and I have 15 cheque accounts for different companies ...service used to be your edge !!
