Racial Profiling

I had a horrible racial experience at the Absa Menlyn Maine branch by a lady called tharine or something like that, who happens to be a service manager at the branch.

She's a ****** with a bad attitude, even worse her colleagues know that she treats people badly but are scared of speaking out because they could loose their jobs. It's disgusting.

Not only did she skip me on the line to help an Indian man who found me inside the branch, she went as far as taking a white lady, also found me inside the branch, to a service consultant for assistance, while telling me to sit down.

When I asked her why she told me to sit down while telling others to proceed to consultants, she said "I am busy helping others" with a bad attitude on her face.

When I asked the service consultant that eventually helped me, to give me information on how to lodge a complaint, all she could say was that she is sorry and that she cannot share that information with me as it will get her in trouble with the Absa. Does this mean Absa employs ******s and protect them when being exposed?

I lodged a complaint with Absa Action Line and spoke to Sophie. She was helpful and advised that the matter will be attended to in 3 to 5 days.
