R600 for statements of 52 pages

My father in Law whom is a pensioner went to the bank on Saturday to get some bank statements as SARS needs it the bank statements is from March 2016 to Feb 2017......ABSA CHARGED HIM R600 FOR THOSE STATEMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where in the world have you ever heard of something that CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is exactly 52 pages R600 for 52 pages and did I mention HE IS A PENTIONER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why can other banks have a set fee charging pensioners for bank statements and any other documentation?? but ABSA charges their customers R600 for printing 52 pages.
