+R6 000 REPORTED ********** TRANSACTIONS TAKEN OFF MY ACCOUNT TWICE

I immediately reported ********** transactions exceeding R6 000 deducted off my account on 12/02/2018, and waited 7 days for an investigator to contact me to deal with the case and refund me. I constantly had to call ABSA ***** to find out when an Investigator would be appointed.

Subsequently to cancelling my card, being charged R140 for the issue of a new card and sending through the required paper work to ABSA *****. I was refunded the funds ABSA on 20/02/2018 (7 DAYS LATER). Tonight, 23/03/2018 over a month after reporting the ***** on my account these ********** transactions with same ********** vendor information was deducted from my account resulting in my account now being in overdraft for the first time in my life. I do not have an overdraft facility with ABSA as this has never been a facility I have required nor had the inclination to use.

I have called ABSA premium banking 24/7 line- they said they cannot assist. I have now been old hold with ABSA ***** line for +25 minutes who advised they too cannot assist me at all and advised I email the investigator appointed to my case (who only works Mon-Fri business hours) can assist. I have been told that I cannot go into a branch to assist and must wait until Monday.

I have just emailed the Investigator appointed to my case, and received an out of office stating that she will be out of office until 17 JUNE 2018- With no alternative contact person given in her out of office.

result of this case, and the lack of due care on the Investigators part, I am now left at month end with the first time in my life with Rnil funds in my account, and the potential of payments bouncing off my account.

After a trip to the branch to cancel my card, being charged R140 for a new card, countless calls to the Investigator and ABSA *****, my patience has now worn thin. These ********** transactions have now been deducted from my account TWICE is less than 2 months. I have never authorised these transactions, have done everything and more to comply on my part, I have no cer*****y as to what funds are being deducted from my account. I do not have piece of mind as a premier ABSA client, as a result of the lack of urgency, assistance and due care, this has matter has not only been frustrating but extremely traumatic and stressful for me.

After reporting this ***** case OVER A MONTH AGO (13 FEBRUARY 2018), I now sit with NO funds in my own account over a weekend, my only resolution given by ABSA staff is to email an investigator who is on leave until 17 JUNE 2018.

Simply frustrating. Paying premier bank charges does not mean premium service. I will most certainly be looking to move my 2 bonds, cheque and investments as soon as my funds are refunded to me for a SECOND TIME. Pure lack of customer service ABSA.
