R1000 REFUND swallowed by ATM

Deposit ATM at BridgeCity took R1000 from a deposit that declined 100 note but swallowed the whole R1000 and produced a slip saying transaction took too long but the money did not come out as it did not finalize the deposit due to the rejected note.We then went into the branch next to the ATM.The lady said she cannot locate the money taken by the ATM and only saw last months deposit.Please locate were the R1000 went to as we were told they will investigate.
