Purpose of private banking/ bankerWhat is the point of being spammed every day with messages telling us that our private banker is there to help, when, in reality, getting support is such a struggle? First, they don’t respond to requests, and when they eventually do—after repeated follow-up emails—the response is often, “Sorry, phone the call centre; they will help you. This is not my job or within my scope/mandate.” So, what exactly is the purpose of having a private banker?
