Pure Incompetence

<p>I went to ABSA in Rosebank on the 31st of August to reverse two unauthorized debit orders from a company that calls themselves Big5 which I had never heard off. They claim I took I contract phone with them and they keep debiting my account every month for R79.00. I keep calling them and they keep telling me they will send me cancellation forms which they never do. So I decided to go to ABSA to reverse these debit orders and to switch from a savings account to a cheque account so these people can stop debiting my account. The lady that assisted me said she had done the reversals and because I was in a hurry they would send me the forms once they start the application process for my cheque account. I came back to work and checked if this lady had indeed done the reversals and to my horror she had only done one reversal what infuriated me was that I asked her again before I left if she did the reversals for two months and she said YES. I went back today and was told by the same lady that I was basicaly lying and that she could not have have done a reversal for the one debit order because it can only be done within 30 days which infact can be done in 45 days. I then asked if they were done with processing my cheque account and switching my debit orders. I was then told that it can't be done until my salary gets deposited to my account. Can someone please tell me how my debit orders will be paid if this is their process?</p>
