PSSPF

My name is Ebrahiem Veary. I resigned (ER) with my last day of service as 31 August 2015. According to the rules of the fund i was told there is a 10 week waiting period before any pay out can be expected and I was told not to inquire until the 10 weeks were over.On 6 November 2015 I went to the PSSPF walk in centre and was told to come back in two weeks time as nothing was done to my withdrawal application. On 20 November 2015 I went back, expecting that the process has started, and was informed the same thing. As I wanted to know what the next step was, the consultant at the walk-in centre called ABSA and to my dismay was told that the documents were still lying there and in the wrong section unattended. I find this unprofessional and negligent.I knew I was going to be unemployed and made financial provision for +/- 2 months for the most. I have debt to pay and all that goes with making a daily living.Currently this is not possible and you are putting me through further financial difficulties.It is the 13th week since my last day of service. Can you please tell me how long I am going to have to wait before my pay-out is going to be finalised.
