Proof of residence good enough for all but ABSA

I went to ABSA bank in Alberton on Saturday to update my FICA and contact information. I am currently a tennant and the lease of our home is in my husband's company's name. On page 6 of the lease it states the following: For good order it is recorded that only the occupants listed below is/are allowed to stay in the PREMISES (full name and surname). My name is listed there. There are signatures by all parties involved including the leasing agent. BUT this doesn't seem to be good enough for ABSA. Oh no. The lease has to be in my name. I have never heard such BULL **** in my life. Just an hour before I handed the same proof of residence in with Standard bank for my BUSINESS account and they didn't even ask questions. They accepted it. And ABSA wonders why I didn't open my business banking account with them???? I am severely upset that my one and only proof of residence is not good enough for ABSA but the rest of the world accepts it. I have a very good mind to close my account and move that to Standard bank as well.
