Proof of bank account number

<p>SARS requisted me to get a letter from my bank with my up to date details as I change fram a savings account to a check account. So I went to bank with the letter from SARS knowing that my details must not be older than 3 months, so the lady at enquiry print my banking details out and I went to SARS. On my arrival at their offices they decline my letter from ABSA because it is older than 3 months they put the date down went I open the account,that is 7 months ago they not intrestting in the stamp at the bottom of the page. So problem is I am losing money everyday that I have to go back to SARS. Can`t ABSA understand that you need the date on the paper the day you ask for it and not back dated for 7 months.</p>
