I am stuck with a bond, a house that I can not extended or do anything because the initial plan of the main house I bought is messed up. I have been paying this bond for almost 8 years .The main structure is faulty roof is overlapping to another site, something that I was not informed of by the bank inspector who approved the sale together with the agent. I only find out now that I want to do some modification to the house and they can't approve the plan because of the actual house.
My plan is not being approved because I apparently need to sort out this issue. I don't know what to do because part of the kitchen door and the corner of the roof is overlapping to another site, meaning in the kitchen we are walking in another property, I don't have a yard at all on that side. This is a standard municipal house. The rest of the yard is another story because the yard has pipes meaning I can't do anything about it. I wanted to extend the house and for 5 years I can't do anything. I just need answers how did the bank even approve bond for this house. I don't know which route to take. Family is expanding there are more than 4 adults and 6 children in a 2 bedroom house which I bought with intention of extending it. How ddi Absa bank approve a house that has a roof that is overlapping.
I need help, please reply to my email *** Contact Number +***1
