Private Banking? There’s nothing private about it.

By far the worst Private Banking offering I’ve experienced. The private banker, Tohier Samsodien, has been the least responsive person ever since signing up. He put up a great facade in the first few days when helping me sign up.

Now I’m trying to get my bond interest rate to line up to what was put on my home loan quote and he’s conveniently decided to disappear. No response to emails or even the WhatsApp number he gave as a primary point of contact.

The only “useful” thing about the account is the preferential rates you get on debt instruments. Otherwise, there’s nothing private about that account.

Seriously considering moving all of my products to another bank.
