Poor service delivery

My son opened a Student account two weeks ago. After supplying FICA documents, he was told the account is approved and he could visit the Glen Marais branch to collect his card. When he got there, he was told there was a FICA hold on the account and they would call him the following week to confirm all is sorted. It is now a week later and nothing.....TERRIBLE service ABSA!!! I am telling my son to rather stay with his current bank.
