Poor Service
Good day All,
Please be advised that ABSA bank has a no compassionate approach to the elderly and there years of support to this institute. I took my Grandmother of 72 years old to ABSA Malvern, Queensbrugh Centre.
There was a que of people standing in a line my grandmother was seated at the door there was no assistance offered I had to call the branch from outside and then eventually got the attention of the lady at the door. We had visited the branch to renew a debt card as it expiries on 07/21 I explained her age etc and was told she needs to follow the que.
Does ABSA know how venerable the old people are to the virus and that we are in our 3rd wave and the fact she is out of her house at your branch risking her LIFE and you want her to wait in the que?
I suggested to make an appointment and the ABSA rep simply rep**** they don't make appointments. Because of there poor service I will definitely change my grandmother bank to a bank that takes care of the elderly you will also lose her last will and testament and any monies you would have earned or commission.
You really need to look at how you will deal with this issue and maybe go digital and order cards online or see elderly people by appointment. So not only am I coming to you with a complaint but a resolution.
Kind Regards,
