Poor service

I sold my house. The house was registered on the 29 January 2020 in the new owners name. The house bond was taken off my account. I had to phone to cancel the insurance and home owners life cover. Up until now the home owners life cover was not cancelled. I've send emails, phoned and went into the bank. Was told that it would have been cancelled 26 Feb 2020. Still its not cancelled. Why does ABSA not cancel these things when a house is sold, obviously its no longer required. Please assist.
