Poor Phone system

Dear ABSA. What is the point in giving me a phone number that trails off into silence. How do Igo through 10 different questions and there is nothing on the other side to let me know I must wait on the phone still. I need to change details on my account yet there is literally on the phone option. Are you trying to hide or something? Why is there no email option?
