Poor claims experience no feedback on claim almost 3 weeks
My geyser burst in my garage, i discovered this on the 21 September around 06:45,i contacted the emergency assistance number and plumber was only sent through at about 11:00,i was then told after the inspection the geyser needs to be replaced and i must pay about R5000 first then it will be repaced, i did an eft immediately, the new geyser was fitted against my cupboard door so i cant even open the cupboard door, photos were alao taken of the resultant damages. An assessor from digi call then visited my premises on the 23 September 2021 and he again took photos. On the 4 October 2021 a contractor from Kzn kitchen came yet again to take measurements and photos. I called kzn kitchens on the 5 October 2021 and they confirmed that they have submitred their quote and they are awaiting feedback from the insurance company regarding an electrician who is going to remove and then put back the inverter system that is in the cupboard that needs to be replaced. To date i have not gotten any feedback from absa. This claim is now going on 3 weeks for such a small claim. Claim number is *** as per Digicall. I called Digicall as well on the 05/10/2021 and they say i must call ABSA for feedback.
