ABSA advised that they were going to restructure my loan (as per the collections lady that called me, there is no given date for this)
Then on the 24th June, I paid a payment into the account that ABSA debits the personal loan from which is normally on the 28th. The debit order then goes off immediately. Days later ABSA calls me telling me I am now in arrears with my loan. ABSA advised that the restructuring was done on the 27th therefore the payment made was not a payment for June and falls part of the restructuring and I am now in arrears with the June payment.
ABSA how does this make sense when I come to you to resolve my issue when in fact you just put me into the same issue? I am really struggling to understand this here – so the suggestion is that I pay this over 4 month (the arrears) I am not happy with this because the reason for restructuring was not to be arrears
Now you still want me to take extra payments over the next 4 months?
Can someone call me with a solution because I am not satisfied with this. The lady that called me was only doing what was required of her but this isn’t satisfactory.
