PERSONAL LOAN ACCOUNT

<p>I am paying back a personal loan from Absa. I have never missed a payment. I agreed to a debit order for the 27th/ 28th of the month as I get paid on the 27th. After a year I realised that they were debiting my account using the Naedo system on the 25th of the month. When I enquired at the bank, I realised that there were feest that I was being charged for this. A consultant from Absa called me and I told her about this. She promised that they would rectify this. Several months this was not changed. The money was still being taken on the 25th. Whats worse is that last year I did not have money in my account and my sister sent me money on the 25th and Absa took the money. That was one of the worst days of my life, as I was left without petrol and other things for 2 days. I let this go. Today the 26th June, I get a call from a consultant in Absa telling me that my account is in arrears. This made me cry as I could not understand that me letting them take so much fees for deducting on the wrong date would lead them to telling me that I was not paying on time. The consultant even told me that there were comments on the system from a long time ago for them to change the date, this was never done. I am so hurt because I make sure every month that my installment is paid on time but Absa continues to cause me to lose money by paying fees for their mistakes. This has messed up my day.</p>
