Personal Loan

<p>I have app**** for a personal loan through absa thinking the process will be smooth and fast. I turned down Nedbank and figured I’d take a loan with ABSA because I’ve had my account with you for as long as I can remember. On Friday (7 April) I called in and the lady that helped me said I should email my documents, which I did. I asked how long the process will take and she said absa will get back to me early this week, they haven’t. I called a few minutes ago and the lady told me that it takes 3 – 4 working days, Monday 10 Apr being day 1. I need this money urgently as I have to put a deposit down on a flat as soon as possible or else I have nowhere to move to end of April. So I have to wait until Thursday, Friday being a public holiday, so maybe I’ll wait until Monday to get feedback from absa??</p> <p>Should I go back to Nedbank and tell them to go ahead because if I did, I would have the money by now. Please tell me why it takes longer for absa to get back to me, whereas Nedbank (who I don’t have an account with) would take 3 – 4 days to PAY OUT THE MONEY????</p>
