Pension Powered Home Loan

<p>I have been emailing Absa for a month requesting more information on their Pension Powered Home Loans as the company I work for have an agreement with the bank regarding this.</p> <p> </p> <p>I finally received an email on Friday saying that they cannot answer any questions via email and that I have to call the number provided. I called and spoke with a lady named Penny. Penny informed me that the product had been discontinued. When I asked when, I was informed that it had been discontinued yesterday. When asked why no one let me know during my numerous attempts to contact the department, she said they weren't allowed to tell anyone. When asked whether my company had been informed, she said she didn't know. When asked why the product had been discontinued she said "These things happen".</p> <p> </p> <p>As disappointed as I am that this product has been discontinued with no communication, the absolute apathy with which my queries were met were appalling.</p> <p> </p>
