Pension fund payout paid into the wrong account

<p>Absa paid my pension fund into the wrong account stating they use 'bank statements' and not the pension fund form...i clearly stated on my pension fund form the account number my money needs to be paid into and they paid the money into the 'bank statement'account they recieved from my previous employer.no verfication check was done by nombulelo mawashe or her supervisor Didi to find out from me which is the correct account number.i have now lost my money and they are refusing to pay me out according to my details on my form i provided!i have had to constantly call them as they never get back to me.the fault is on absa's side as they had two account numbers and did not contact me to verify where my funds should be paid into!i am disgusted by the lack of urgency for ABSA to rectify their mistake nd pay my money into the correct account!i will be taking this forward to the Bank Ombudsman!!!Their incompetence is appaling!</p>
