Payment on ABSA Loan but affected on credit bureau

1.I paid R80k into my ABSA personal loan on 27 Feb 2017 which had a settlement of about R85k. The end of March no instalment was deducted due to large amount that I paid in. My instalment has now been reduced to R679.57 - recalculated over 42 months. I obtained new settlement which is now R6637.21. I did not ask ABSA to recalculate loan but wanted full instalment to be deducted to repay loan sooner.

2.I app**** for credit elsewhere but was told the FULL ABSA loan amount still reflects on credit bureau which affects my affordability. When I questioned this when obtaining a new settlement, the consultant told me it will take 90 days for credit bureau update. However if I skipped a payment,it would reflect immediately. This is very bad practice!
