Paying faithfully every month by balance never come down

<p>I have been paying my bond for 12 years. I have been on debt review and got into arrears. I agreed to pay a much higher monthly payment until my arrears was up to date. For maybe tha last year I caught up and up to date. The high payment continues nevertheless. And after years I can see no difference in the balance. I bought the house for less than R300 000. Ues I took out extra loans on the bond for about R70 000 on total. But now my balance is over R700 000. Can they explain why, and why this amount stay the same more or less with each statement? Also why should I still pay over R9000 for an amount of R700 000. And I was told I still have another 20 years to go. Can someone please explain all this to me on black and white and if there is any way to pay a lesser monthly payment.</p>
