Pathetic service with regards to Credit Life Policy

Trying to claim from a credit life policy with ABSA is an absolute nightmare. You send the documents they request (mentioning what you can’t provide) and then they continue to request more and do not pay attention to responses sent to them.

I have paid towards my loan and policy for 6 years, never missed an instalment and have never claimed against it once. Now that I want to claim they have issues with everything.

I would strongly advise against opening an account with ABSA as their service is disgusting and, in my experience, they will try anything to not pay out in the event you are retrenched.

I will definitely be closing my account with them as soon as I have settled my personal loan.
