Pathetic service of Absa Bank

I am most disappointed with the service I received or should I say a lack of service from the 6 people that I had spoken to at Absa Bank. This includes the team leader Ruth Magobielo even though I asked to speak to the manager. My first call to them was on 15 July 2020 querying the reason why my bond installment had increased from March to present day, yet we had 4 interest rate cuts in this period and I had not missed a payment. Phoned again on 21 July and spoke to Maketi. Thereafter I spoke to Phumesele on 30 July and then Shoni on 30 July on a different number. Phoned again on 17 August, spoke to Shoni and then asked to speak to the manager and then I get the Team leader. I told the team leader that I would like an answer to my query by today (19 August). Still waiting!! I had posted a message on Absa facebook page last week and instead of helping me and answering the query the post was deleted. How *********! How inefficient and ***********! These people are clearly getting paid for nothing. If you tell a customer/client that you will email them or phone them back then that is what you would expect from them. However, I really don't think that this applies to some of Absa employees. How the woman had become a team manager when she is just as *********** as her staff is beyond me. Because of the worst possible service I have received thus far, I have already moved some of my debit orders to Capitec Bank. Hats off to this bank because within a few hours my emails were answered and they had started the ball rolling. Within 3 days I have received more service from Capitec than I did with Absa in more than a month. Absa do be careful. I have been a loyal customer since I first started my job which was 33 years ago. My salary goes into this account, my debit orders goes out of this account, I have a credit card, bond account and investments with you. If you cannot sort out a small issue then I no longer want to bank with you. Would love to hear from someone.
