After being harassed for more than a year, having my information shared with every Tom. **** and Harry. Absa still had the gall to reiterate that I should just "share" private information with them contrary to the POPI Act. No apologies, no explanation as to why my information is being shared other than they found it relevant to contact me continuously and threaten me with moving the debt to my name (they actually did do so on a WhatsApp message where they changed the name of the debtor to my name). Simply "Okay, we will try to stop this harassment.
