pathetic service

I need to express my utter disgust with the service received from ABSA. I called your credit card division in Feb 2019 advising that I will be travelling abroad and I wanted to be able to use my card in overseas and I was assured it was activated for the period I requested. I called on 12-06-2019, only to find out that it was not done, however, a friendly lady activated the service and guided me on how to use the app should I need to make changes. My withdrawal limit was set on 10K before leaving. When I reached Beijing on 14 June and I tried to withdraw money from the ATM, I kept getting the message that my daily withdrawal limit was exceeded and I was trying to withdraw less than 10K. I tried a few times over the next couple of days and I was getting the same message. I even increased the withdrawal limit on the app and still, it did not work. I called your call centre on 16 June and held on for 21 mins and no one answered (maybe your staff was asleep). This really left me devasted in a foreign country and I did not have any money to use and also considering that the money on the credit card was my own which I deposited. My family had to deposit money into the hotels account from SA In order for me to live there (this of course incurred fees). I want my call charges to be refunded and also I want to close all my accounts including and my home finance and investments with ABSA as I don’t believe you value your customers.
