Pathetic funeral policy claim

If I can make a suggestion. NEVER take out a funeral policy with ABSA bank. You are going to wait forever to have your claim paid out. I e-mailed my claim forms Monday the 09th of December at 16:45. Only received confirmation of claim on Tuesday 12:25. Then I was told that I will have to wait 48 hours for an outcome. Went back to my local branch on Friday 13 December and was told that they only contacted the hospital and funeral parlour yesterday to confirm death. Received another sms at 11:33 stating that my claim has been approved and that I should give 72 hours for the money to reflect in my account. It is weekend, and Monday is a public holiday. We are going to 2 WEEKS now ! When am I going to bury my loved one ? This is really rediculous. I can understand that they only received the e-mail Tuesday morning, but why do I have to wait 48 hours for them to confirm that he is really deceased and another 2 days for confirmation that I will eventually be receiving the policy money ?
