Paid up my debt but am stilling getting smses

I had a vehicle finance with Absa ***7- threatining me to take further legal action on a debt i paid up 2 months back. <br> <br> Can somebody investigate and see if i have been cleared off the credit burea. I have tried to contact Absa but am getting no joy.
