Paid up credit card ITC update required
I settled credit card debt with a third party Law firm in July 2023. I received a paid up letter from them which I forwarded to Absa in order to update ITC etc..
Transunion still shows the said account as " Handed over " and it has been almost a year. This means that i cant get any credit anywhere even with a score of 628.
I've been on various phone calls for many months and no one within the Credit Card division or legal seems to understand what the problem is.
My livelihood is at stake here!
Terrible service since i've been a client for 24 years!
