Overcharged and fed up

In the past 4 months having my new business with ABSA, I've been overcharged numerous times. Each time it takes me to go into the Somerset West branch to see my business banker to try and resolve them. It takes away precious billable hours from myself and running a new legal firm, it frustrates me immensely that ABSA cannot get my accounts in order.

1. I'm now being charged for additional admin charges on BOTH business and trust accounts, that no one seems to know what it is for.

2. I'm being charged an Internet banking fee for "Archived bank statements", even though I have never gone back more than 3 months on my online profile. How can 3 months' old statements be seen as "archived"?

3. The reason for me having to go back on my statements online, were to check that my business banker corrected all the incorrect charges, as well as an error by ABSA where they incorrectly named my account as Pty (Ltd) instead of Inc. Thus I cannot go back on my statements online to check if the corrections were made, otherwise I will be charged a "Archived Bank Statement" fee. How conveniet for ABSA!

4. All my monthly posted statements have the incorrect name on, and cannot be used by my auditors or submitted to the Law Society.

ABSA is placing my practice's name and ability to trade as a law practice in jeopordy. I would not advise ANY new law practice or practitioner to consider ABSA.
