OVERCHARGE

<p>I have been charged R299 banking fees this month when my banking fee is usally only R49. Upon enquiery I was informed that this was due to a debit order that was reversed which left my account in arrears with R19.16. Apart from me not knowing of such debit order, I can perhaps understand a penalty fee of some sort. But to penalise me R250 for such an amount in arrears is absurd. I am not at all happy about this and have decided to completely move over to another bank and close this account. I also asked the people at my branch to show me where in the terms and conditions it provides for this surcharge but they could not supply me with the necessary.</p>
