Outstanding amount at ABSA, created by RCS

My wife has an account at Game / RCS and she paid via debit order. She went on pension due to her health condition and indicated to ABSA Kimberley she would like to close the bank account due to their monthly cost, no income, etc. and went to Game Kimberley and requested them to cancel the debit order and indicated that future payments will be done via EFT. Game / RCS refer her back to ABSA and indicated ABSA should cancel the debit order. ABSA referred her back to GAME / RCS and indicated Game / RCS must cancel the debit order.

After several attempts to cancel the debit order, my wife went to the manager at Game who then contacted RCS and requested RCS to cancel the debit order. RCS then confirmed they have done that, and the manager informed us accordingly, but instead of cancelling the debit order, RCS submitted the debit order twice a month and because there are no funds in the account, ABSA penalised my wife and added these reversal cost to her account. She again went to ABSA and Game but they just indicated they can’t do anything, because the head offices should handle the matter. We even forward email to their helpdesk. ABSA responded and indicated they will come back. They did not. Game / RCS did not even worry to respond. Game / RCS just continue sending the debit orders and the total amount generated by Game / RCS with the submitting of debit orders, amounts R738.75.

ABSA handed her account over to MBD attorneys who phones her daily and threatening her now with blacklisting. That after she explained the matter to the MBD officials and after she tried her utmost best to stop the debit order. She did not create this unnecessary cost at ABSA.

Your intervention will be appreciated to force ABSA to reverse this cost and to recover the amount from Game / RCS because officials at Game head office / RCS were negligent and did not do what they were supposed to do. My wife's info is:
