Original Natis Not being sent from ABSA

A Truck was settled which was financed by ABSA and all settlement proof were sent as the processes request and Original NATIS Documents requested in the beginning of June 2022.

The documents were suppose to be routed to ABSA Vryheid to Zamokuhle Khumalo. From 8th of June we started being in contact to find out when will we be receiving the original documents as the truck has been sold and need to be registered considering that it was expiring 30/06/22. We were promised they receive their courier 3 times a week, that is Monday, Wednesday or Friday.

Since we were still in June and the response was promising. We waited for all those 3 days during the week calling after each and every of the three days to find out if the documents did arrive. We did that the whole month of June until the truck expired and now is off the road.

Now we do notify the bank the urgency and asked them to take this as a matter of urgency. Today is the 14th and still no papers in our position and the truck is parked collecting bills and is loosing around R10 000 a day due to the delay from receiving the papers.

It was expressed to the bank and a new resource was assigned. Charlene Ontong to take over from where Zama left off if there is such. We again getting same response which we have been getting the papers were sent to an old ABSA branch now they are being rerouted them with no timelines.

It is very disappointing to receive such a service from asset finance considering the fact it is clear those are business vehicle and not leisure. Any delay and not attending to the matter urgently is disadvantaging our business.

We should not be begging ABSA employee to do their JOB.
